Lead Activities Facilitator

An exciting and rare opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Lead Facilitator to join the team at Wild Estate on beautiful Waiheke Island. We are looking forward to meeting a highly motivated, focused and fun professional facilitator to plan and manage flawless activities for our private and corporate clients as well as generate new business for our stunning venue.  

Permanent, full time, weekend work.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE

This role involves facilitating groups of private clients through to corporate clients as a Facilitator, coaching Archery, Laser Claybird Shooting and our Corporate Team Building Activities.

The successful applicant will possess a high quality level of service, an outgoing and fun personality, and outstanding people skills to accommodate all types of groups and ensure they have a fantastic time.  The Lead Facilitator must ensure all activities are performed safely and adhere to all Health & Safety Procedures.

We need someone very well organised, detail focused and able to multi-task. You will be responsible for all aspects of providing a world class experience from greeting clients to developing new activities/games and experiences. The position will include some FOH duties and general maintenance.

You’ll need to ensure we can deliver on what is promised every time.

OUR LOCATION

Waiheke Island is a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland.

YOU WILL NEED

  • Min 3 years experience in adventure tourism/activities/facilitation

  • Excellent oral communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail

  • A well organised, structured approach, a focus on result

  • Accredited qualification, in Adventure Tourism, an advantage  but not essential

  • Strong social media skills/experience an advantage

  • Confidence in multi-tasking and working efficiently

  • Able to effectively interact with a wide range of people

  • A "can do" attitude, self-motivated/hard working approach

  • A strong sense of customer service

  • Proactive and a creative problem solver

  • ·To be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
