How to get to Wild On Waiheke

Getting here is easy!  We're in the heart of Waiheke Island’s beautiful wineries, and there's even a bus stop right at our gate!  Simply grab the No.1 bus from outside the Matiatia ferry terminal, and holler when you reach our gate.

So, once you've had your fill of our wild merriment (although, can one ever really?), you'll find Waiheke's delights just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Fancy a tasting tour? Well, we're practically neighbors with Stonyridge, Te Motu, Tantalus, and The Heke (a hop, sip, and jump, anyone?). All five delectable venues are at the same convenient bus stop - we dare you to find another place on this planet where you can do that!

Just a stone's throw away, you'll discover the dazzling Onetangi Beach, beckoning you with its sparkling waters. Or perhaps, the Waiheke Golf Club and the Onetangi Sports Park are more up your alley. Feeling extra spry? Put on your adventurer's hat and trek our Waiheke Walkways - they're quite the treat.

And for those with a penchant for breathtaking panoramas, Putiki O Kahu, the noble volcano gracing our horizon, beckons. Trek its slopes and immerse yourself in the profound Maori history etched into its rugged skin. The echoes of fierce battles and fortified villages like Rangihoua Putiki-o-kahu and Whakanewha lend a rich tapestry to our island's lore.

Had a taste for history? Swing by our quaint little museum down the road - it's chock-full of Waiheke's vibrant past! We're head over heels in love with our little island, and we've got our fingers crossed that you'll be smitten too!

How to get here

Our beautiful spot's located on Waiheke Island, just 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, or 45 minutes from Halfmoon Bay by car and passenger ferry. If you're lucky enough to have a boat, then there's plenty of moorings, and even a helipad on our front lawn if you've a special occasion.
